climbing mountains on weekdays is really good.

I went to Mt. Iwo in Yatsugatake area on my day off.

There were only two other teams.

We monopolized the wonderful view from the summit.

I recommend climbing mountains on weekdays.

I left home at midnight on Tuesday, and joined up with my friends.

We took photos of starlit sky around Yatsugatake and  started to climb the mountain at daybreak.

We hiked up to the summit on the Auren hut side, and descended from Natsusawa Toge.

You can enjoy seeing the famous peaks of Yatsugatake from the short distance all by yourself.

We arrived at the ridge on the Akaiwa after  two and a half hour hiking.

The view was very nice so we stayed there for around one hour.

You can see Amida, Akadake, Yokodake at once.

I recommend coming to this spot in the morning while the weather is calm.

There are few hikers on weekdays, so you can enjoy  this superb view in almost complete solitude.

You can find  a car park easily while it is difficult to do on weekend.

We walked from Sakuradaira.

There are three parking lots at different altitudes. They usually get  filled up from the top down.

On weekdays, this area  is not crowded, so we could park at the top.

By the way, the road is rough, so  I recommend that you drive 4WD.

Stress-free, no traffic jams driving.

I usually use Chuo Highway to drive back home.

There are always traffic jams on Saturdays and Sundays, so it usually takes about five hours.

However, I could get home in three hours without any traffic jams this time.

Time is money right?

How about weekday mountain climbing more often?
